Broadcast and Human Interest Stories

For a number of years I worked as a freelance camera operator and editor with The Seattle Channel producing stories in and around the Emerald City. My pieces were nominated for 3 Emmy awards and won multiple NATOA awards (government television association). Most of the work involved short magazine style pieces focused on environmental and green themes. It was a wonderful opportunity to see parts of the city I’d never have had access to- ride alongs with the police department, on board tug boats in the harbor, in the bowels of our sports stadiums, interviews with city council members and so much more. On all of these pieces I was the cameraman and editor working with a reporter/producer.
