Northwest Ecobuilding Guild’s Annual 10X10X10 Green Building Slam at Kane Hall

Had the pleasure of once again filming the Ecobuilding Guild’s 10X10X10 Green Building Slam at UW’s Kane Hall. 10 presenters, 10 slides, 10 minutes each, great food and desserts. It’s the 5th year in a row that I’ve recorded the presentations and the projects just keep getting better and better. A few of my favorite presentations included the redevelopment of the building at the SE corner of 10th and Pike on the far corner of Cal Anderson Park. The builders discussed how they’d preserved the giant facade and worked it into the new green bldg. Another were 2 impressive intentional communities on Bainbridge and Whidbey Islands.
